Welcome to the MLK Day Mobilization “Hot Spot”!

We are very excited about the work being done, all across the nation, to mobilize support for and participation in the Martin Luther King Day of Service. King Day service initiatives continue to grow year after year. In 2009, there were over 13,000 projects and more than one million people who participated in service activities over the King Holiday weekend.

This MLK Day Mobilization Hot Spot is here to provide you with targeted and concentrated assistance to help you to mobilize your community around positive changes through volunteering and service.

Use the button above to access the newly revised MLK Day Toolkit with topic-specific mobilization resources--tools, tips, and best practices. Can't find what you need there, ask a colleague and/or our mobilization specialists, by clicking the Share Ideas & Questions button.

We also encourage you to spread the word and forward these resources to others in your network, to help expand participation and make the MLK Day of Service 2010 bigger and better!
